Cathleen Horner – Office Manager
Cathleen Horner, or Cathi, is our office manager. She earned her degree in Business Administration at Administrative Academy of Berlin Senate, Germany in 1998. Cathi has over ten years dental administrative experience.
Cathi is native to Germany. She and her husband Rick moved to the Nashville area in 2011, and has been with us since 2012. In her free time, Cathi enjoys playing the piano, riding motorcycles and being with her husband and friends.
Yvonne Waters- Patient Coordinator
Yvonne is the newest member of our team and serves as our patient coordinator. She brings with her a lifetime of experience in consumer relations including general as well as specialty dental practices. Although an avid traveler she hasn’t wandered far from home…she grew up just a few blocks away from our office! In her spare time she enjoys most anything pertaining to the arts.
Spring Stevens – Registered Dental Assistant
Spring worked for many years in healthcare, as a phlebotomist with the Red Cross. Looking for a change of pace she attended Dental Staff School of Tennessee to become a Registered Dental Assistant. Spring enjoys helping patients achieve happy, healthy smiles, and seeing the transformations in patients when they regain confidence in their smiles. She has been with our office since 2013 and is certified in CPR, AED, Nitrous Oxide monitoring as well as completed training for dental implants and short term orthodontics.
Dayana Aguilar – Registered Dental Assistant
Dayana joined our team in 2018. She received her training from Remington College, and originally joined our team as an extern. We enjoyed her so much we asked her to stay! She enjoys helping people feel more comfortable during their visits and helping give back their smiles.
When not at the office, Dayana enjoys music, horseback riding and traveling to new places.
Cynthia Andrews – Dental Hygienist
Cynthia has a B.S. in dental hygiene from the University of TN and undergraduate studies at University of Alabama. She has been in dentistry since 1995 and has extensive experience in periodontal therapy. She has certifications in Expanded Functions Dental Assisting, Nitrous Oxide & local anesthesia. Other qualifications include CPR/AED certification by American Heart Association, DNA testing of periodontal disease and working a number of years with sedation dentistry. Cynthia’s patients are very important to her and she is passonate about ensuring they have the best oral health.
Cynthia and her husband Eric live in Kingston Springs. They have three children, Garrett, Grant and Claudia and enjoy family time together. They are active leaders with the cub scouts in their community.
Tiffany Henderson – Dental Hygenist
Tiffany received her degree from Western Kentucky University and has been practicing clinical Dental Hygiene since 1996. She was also an assistant prior to that so she has nearly 30 years dental experience. She loves helping people understand their oral health and the connection to the rest of their bodies. Educating the patient is her primary focus in patient care. Tiffany is excited to join Dr Rushing and her staff to serve the patients well and to have fun with them all!
When not at work Tiffany is pretty active. She and her husband, Johnny, ballroom dance every week, white water kayak, they’re kayak instructors, and hike and serve their church. They have two adult children, Rachel and Randy, leaving Johnny and Tiffany as official empty nesters.
Karla McDonald – Dental Hygienist
Karla is a registered dental hygienist and received her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Louisville. She has been with Dr. Rushing and Dr. Coulter since 1999. Karla truly enjoys getting to know her patients and their concerns, while also helping them maintain an excellent level of oral health.
Karla has two sons, Neal and his wife Micah, and Sam and his wife Lisa, who live in Nolensville ,Tennessee. She is the pround grandparent of three little girls, Lily, Hannah and Harper. When not at work, Karla enjoys walking, gardening, working out, playing with her puppy and volunteering at church.
